Principal - Lacey Cruddas

Hi there!
My name is Lacey Cruddas, and I’m the proud Principal of Bartlett Elementary—a place full of big smiles, big hearts, and even bigger dreams! 🌟

I started my journey in education with a degree in Elementary Education (with a focus on Early Childhood) from Midwestern State University, and later earned my master’s degree from Lamar University. When I’m not at school, you’ll find me soaking up time with my family and our sweet pups 🐾, flipping pages of a good book 📚, enjoying the great outdoors 🌳, or relaxing by the beach 🏖️!

My teaching career began in Killeen ISD as a kindergarten teacher (yes—tiny chairs and finger paints!). Later, I moved to Salado ISD where I worked in dyslexia and reading intervention, and also taught 3rd grade—every step making my love for learning and growing even stronger.

In 2017, a dream came true when I became an Assistant Principal, and five years later, I was incredibly honored to step into the role of Principal here at Bartlett. 💙 This is my 4th year at Bartlett.

I truly believe that every child is unique, capable, and full of potential. My mission is to make sure every student feels safe, supported, valued—and has fun while learning! I want them to know they belong here, and that this is a place where they can shine. ✨

My goal is to help every child grow every single day. With the support of our amazing staff, wonderful parents, and our caring community, we’re going to make magic happen together!

I’m so excited to get to know your children, and I can’t wait to celebrate all the awesome things they’ll accomplish. As we go through the year, my door is always open. Whether you have an idea, a question, or just want to say hi—please feel free to stop by or give me a call. Let’s make this year the best one yet! 🎉

I am truly blessed to be the instructional leader of such an awesome school community.

Go Bulldogs!
With smiles,
Mrs. Cruddas 😊
